PLAS Names Brandon Matthews as Assistant Athletic Director


Pike Liberal Arts School is pleased to announce the naming of Brandon Matthews as the Assistant Athletic Director in charge of Character Development and Community Relations. Matthews will also have specific duties in the area of female athletics. Matthews is a native of Greenville, Alabama, where he graduated from Fort Dale Academy. Matthews graduated with honors from Troy University with a degree in Political Science and Public Information. Matthews currently teaches junior high Bible and Career Skills, as well as high school Life Skills at Pike. Matthews also serves as the Head Coach of the Junior Varsity Football and Junior Varsity Basketball programs, as well as an assistant varsity football coach. Matthews is married to Hannah Matthews and they have one son, George.
