ADMISSION TO PIKE LIBERAL ARTS SCHOOL

A MESSAGE TO ALL APPLICANTS...

Dear prospective students and parents,

On behalf of the students, parents, faculty, staff and board of directors of Pike Liberal Arts School, I would like to thank you for considering our school. PLAS is an AdvancED and AISA accredited school.

It is our desire to provide you with as much information as possible so that you can make critical decisions concerning the education of your child/children. We pray that you will want to be a part of "Our Family".

Since we are an independent school we are not required to adopt federal programs that affect curriculum. Christian education is a critical step in the transformation of students; we begin our day with a character word, scripture and prayer. It is our desire to build character in our young men and women.

Pike Liberal Arts has a strong academic program resulting in high achievement test scores annually. These scores and the strong curriculum enable our students to qualify for excellent scholarships to colleges throughout the country. We offer dual enrollment through Troy University and offer a standard and advanced diploma. Our electives include Bible classes, ACT preparation, Art, Band, and Chorus. We offer cheerleading, football, volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball, golf, tennis, and dance team as athletics. We have had state championships in cheerleading, football, basketball, softball, baseball, and golf.

It would be my pleasure to show you around our campus to see our facilities and meet our talented students and staff. Please call so that you can meet "Our Family"; we are confident that you will want to become a part of PLAS. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Eric Burkett

Headmaster
